Thomson Pink Cashmere Scarf

Thomson means "son of Thom", and the name belongs to the Borderlands and the Lowlands, where the family's ancestors lived among the Strathclyde people. The clan is armigerous, meaning it has no chief, and its motto, "Pro Patria", means "for one's country". Thomson Pink is a modern colourway of the family's check, set in a soft, rosy hue. It is Scottish heritage in its most delicate form.

This scarf is handcrafted from 100% pure cashmere in a 250 year old heritage mill. The pink is soft and warm, and the check sits quietly across the cloth.

Thirty-five steps go into every scarf. The last is done by hand, with teasels drawn across the cashmere to raise the fibres to an extra soft finish. The result is a scarf of gentle colour and real warmth, made to last well beyond a single season.
