Stewart Muted Blue Cashmere Scarf

The Stewarts were the royal house of Scotland from 1371, when Robert II took the throne, until the death of Queen Anne in 1714. Their family motto, "Virescit vulnere virtus", means "courage grows stronger at the wound". The Royal Stewart pattern, first published in 1831, has since taken many colourways, and here it appears in a muted blue, with the softened tones of weathered cloth. It is Scottish heritage in its most serene form.
