Classic Camel Check Wool Scarf

Our craftspeople make this scarf in extra fine pure lambswool at a Scottish mill with a 250-year heritage. The iconic check is woven with exactness, its pattern crisp and its colour consistent, so it looks as good up close as it does across the street. Wear it with a navy knit and stone chinos, over a sharp jacket on the way to a meeting, or around a white tee for a relaxed day out. It folds flat for packing, and the fringe adds a finishing flourish.

From raw wool to finished cloth, each scarf takes 29 steps, including dyeing and weaving, then washing and finishing. The last touch is made by hand, using teasels in the traditional manner to lift the fibres into an extra-soft texture. The result is a scarf that feels as good as it looks, made to stay in rotation for years to come.
