Natural Camel Check Wool Scarf

The scarf is handcrafted in extra fine pure lambswool at a Scottish mill that has been weaving for over 250 years. With just one shade to work with, the iconic check is carried by the weave itself, a fine, even grid that you notice up close and that gives the scarf its shape and body. Wear it with a slate-blue knit and dark trousers, a double-denim outfit, or a black dress with leather boots. The fringe finishes both ends with a soft, tousled edge.

It takes 29 steps to make, and the last is a hand-brushing with teasels that leaves the wool smooth, light and gently raised. A scarf to rely on, year after year.
