Lindsay Cashmere Scarf

The Lindsays were first recorded in Scotland in 1120 and held the lands of Crawford in Lanarkshire by 1164. In 1398, Sir David Lindsay of Crawford was created Earl of Crawford, a title recognised as the premier earldom of Scotland. The clan's motto, "Endure Fort", means "endure bravely". Its tartan, in burgundy, green and dark blue, is among the most popular in Scotland. It is Scottish heritage in its most enduring form.

Handcrafted from 100% pure cashmere in a 250 year old heritage mill, this scarf gives the tartan's deep colours a rich, saturated depth.

Each scarf is shaped over 35 steps, and the finishing touch is a classic one. Teasels are drawn across the surface by hand, raising the fibres to an extra soft finish. The result is a scarf that wraps you in comfort, winter after winter.
