Dark Green Check Wool Scarf

Dark green, black, grey and white meet in our iconic check like a pine wood on a misty morning, deep, calm and full of quiet detail. Edinburgh Cashmere is a Scottish heritage brand, and this four-colour blend gives a classic pattern a cool, woodland feel.

The scarf is handcrafted in extra fine pure lambswool at a Scottish mill that has been weaving for over 250 years. In the iconic check, the dark green gives depth, the black anchors it, and the grey and white add light, with all four colours placed cleanly and evenly. Pair it with a burnt-orange jumper, wrap it over a black wool coat, or loop it around the handle of a leather briefcase. The fringe gives each end a gently tousled edge.

A total of 29 steps goes into each scarf, and it ends with a hand-brushing by teasel for a mellow, lived-in softness. Grounded and versatile, it settles into a wardrobe and stays.
