Pink Check Wool Scarf

Pink arrives in our iconic check as a tender, rosy tone, turning a pattern steeped in Scottish dress into something light and fresh. Edinburgh Cashmere is a Scottish heritage brand, and this colourway shows how gracefully the check can soften.

Our makers work extra fine pure lambswool at a mill whose craft stretches back more than 250 years. The iconic check is rendered in crisp, orderly lines, and the pink is spread evenly so the whole scarf glows with a quiet radiance. Slip it over an ivory cardigan, knot it at the throat of a striped shirt, or tie it to the strap of a tote bag for a flash of colour. The short fringe at each end finishes it neatly.

29 steps shape each scarf, covering dyeing, weaving, washing and finishing. A hand-brushing with teasels is the final act, an heirloom technique that lifts every fibre and leaves the surface exceptionally soft. The result is a scarf of sweet colour and tender softness, made to be cherished for many years.
