This scarf is handcrafted in pure cashmere at a 250-year-old heritage mill in Scotland. The iconic check is woven with precision, its lines clean and its colour even, so that the scarf carries its heritage with composed confidence. Draped loose over a tailored coat, wrapped close at the neck beneath a jacket, or knotted simply over a knit, it adds a gentle note of colour to winter dressing.

Each scarf takes 35 steps to complete, from dyeing and weaving through to washing and finishing. The final touch is a gentle hand-brushing with teasels, a traditional method that lifts the fibres to an extra-soft finish.
