Thomson Camel Scottish Cashmere Scarf

Thomson was a Border name, most numerous in the country between the West March and Edinburgh, and it means "son of Thom". The Thomson Camel is a modern tartan, recorded in 1967 and credited to Scotty Thompson. It is a simple colour variation on the family's blue tartan, set on a warm, sandy ground. It is Scottish heritage in its most effortless form.

A 250 year old heritage mill handcrafts this scarf from 100% pure cashmere. The camel tones are soft and golden, and the fine check runs cleanly from end to end.

Thirty-five steps lie behind every scarf, and the final one is done by hand. Teasels are brushed across the cashmere, lifting the fibres to an extra soft finish. It is a scarf that feels as good as it looks, made to be worn season after season.
