Small Stewart Camel Cashmere Scarf

The Stewarts rose to the throne through a wedding that followed a battle. Walter Stewart, the 6th High Steward of Scotland, led one of the Scottish divisions at Bannockburn in 1314. He later married Marjorie, daughter of Robert the Bruce, and their son became Robert II, the first Stewart king. The Stewart Camel is a modern colourway of the family's tartan, set in warm, sandy tones. It is Scottish heritage in its most cherished form.

Handcrafted from 100% pure cashmere at a 250 year old heritage mill, this scarf is made in a compact size that tucks neatly under a coat. The camel is soft and golden, and the tartan's lines sit gently within it.

Each scarf is brought together over 35 steps, and the last is done by hand. Teasels are brushed across the cashmere to lift the fibres to an extra soft finish. It is a scarf with a plush, comforting hand, made to be worn through many winters.
