DESCRIPTION

Dark blue, with a tailored finish. This solid dark blue scarf from Edinburgh Cashmere, a Scottish heritage brand, is made from pure extra fine cashmere in a deep, even blue. Its compact proportions lie flat and neat beneath a jacket or coat, giving smart dressing a clean, polished line, and it pairs easily with grey, white and camel.

Woven at a mill with more than 250 years of manufacturing history, the cloth is smooth and supple, with dense, even colour and a neat fringe. Tuck it flat under a collar, loop it once, or knot it loosely; it keeps a crisp line however it is worn.

Thirty-five steps take each scarf from dyeing and weaving through washing and finishing, and the last is done by hand: a gentle brushing with teasels, a traditional technique that leaves the cashmere soft and gently lifted. It is a dark blue scarf with a polished edge, made to be worn for years.
