Brown Check Cashmere Scarf

Handcrafted in pure cashmere at a Scottish mill more than 250 years old, this scarf is woven with a steady hand, its natural brown tones even and well balanced across the length. Wrap it loosely over a wool overcoat, fold it once beneath a leather jacket, or knot it close at the neck over a roll neck. The neutral palette works as easily with denim as with tailoring.

Each scarf takes 35 steps to complete, from dyeing and weaving through to washing and finishing. A final hand-brushing with teasels, a traditional method, raises the fibres to an extra-soft finish. The result is warm, natural colour and a softness you feel at once, made to be worn winter after winter and kept for life.
