The cloth is woven at a 250-year-old heritage mill in Scotland, then dyed with care so the red stays deep and consistent from one end to the other. Wear it looped at the neck, draped loosely or tucked beneath a coat. A single strong colour gives a plain outfit a clear focal point, in any season.

Every scarf we make involves 35 stages of careful work, from dyeing and weaving to washing and finishing. A final hand-brushing with teasels, a traditional method, lifts the fibres to a soft, plush finish. It is a red that holds its character, made to be worn for years.
