DESCRIPTION

Light blue, clear and fresh. This solid light blue scarf from Edinburgh Cashmere, a Scottish heritage brand, is made from pure extra fine cashmere in a soft, even blue with a clear, airy tone. It is the easy way to freshen a darker wardrobe: beside navy, grey and white it feels crisp, and with denim it looks relaxed and natural.

Made at a mill with a manufacturing history of more than 250 years, the cloth is smooth and supple, with colour dyed evenly from end to end and a clean fringe. Wear it long and loose, wrap it once close to the neck or tuck it into a jacket.

Thirty-five steps take each scarf from dyeing and weaving through washing and finishing, and the last is done by hand: a gentle brushing with teasels, a traditional technique that leaves the cashmere soft, light and gently lifted. It is a scarf in a clear, easy colour, made to be worn for years.
