DESCRIPTION

This solid pink scarf from Edinburgh Cashmere, a Scottish heritage brand, is made from pure extra fine cashmere in a rich, even pink, woven in neater proportions that sit close and stay out of the way. It adds colour without bulk, and pairs easily with navy, grey, camel and denim.

The cloth comes from a mill with more than 250 years of manufacturing history, and the dye is even and saturated, so the colour stays clear from end to end, with a tidy fringe. Loop it once at the neck, tuck it into a jacket or knot it simply; it stays tidy however it is worn.

Thirty-five steps take each scarf from dyeing and weaving through washing and finishing, and the last is done by hand: a gentle brushing with teasels, a traditional technique that leaves the cashmere soft, light and gently lifted. It is a compact scarf in a colour you will reach for, made to be worn for years.
