DESCRIPTION

This solid pink scarf from Edinburgh Cashmere, a Scottish heritage brand, is made from pure extra fine cashmere in a rich, even pink that brings colour to a look without overwhelming it. Against navy, charcoal, camel or black it is the accent that makes an outfit feel considered; with white, grey or denim it keeps things fresh and light.

Woven at a mill with more than 250 years of manufacturing behind it, the cloth is smooth and supple, and the colour is dyed evenly so it reads clean from end to end, with a tidy fringe. Loop it once for a point of colour at the neck, drape it open over a coat, or knot it loosely for a softer touch.

Thirty-five steps take each scarf from dyeing and weaving through washing and finishing, and the last is done by hand: a gentle brushing with teasels, a traditional technique that leaves the cashmere soft, airy and lightly lifted.
