DESCRIPTION

Cream, quietly bright. This solid cream scarf from Edinburgh Cashmere, a Scottish heritage brand, is made from pure extra fine cashmere in a soft, even cream that lifts a look and calms it at the same time. Against navy, charcoal or black it gives gentle contrast; beside camel, stone or denim it blends into a softer, tonal palette.

Its softness comes from fine fibres and long practice: the mill that weaves it has been manufacturing for over 250 years, and the cloth is smooth, supple and evenly coloured, with a neat fringe at each end. Let it fall loose and open, fold it once at the collar or wrap it twice for a fuller line.

Every scarf is finished in 35 steps, from dyeing and weaving to washing and the final hand-brushing with teasels, a traditional method that raises the fibres into a light, downy softness. It is a cream scarf made with care, and made to stay in the wardrobe for years.
