Colour takes centre stage in this solid cashmere scarf from Edinburgh Cashmere, a Scottish heritage brand. Deep, saturated and carefully dyed, each shade is made to sit naturally beside the pieces already in your wardrobe. Choose from Dark Blue, Gray, Light Blue, Red, Brown, Camel or Black.

Made from pure extra fine cashmere at a mill with more than 250 years of history, the cloth is soft and light, with a clean finish at every edge. Fold it once for a neat line at the collar, loop it twice for fullness, or let it hang loose for an easy, relaxed look.

Behind that softness is a patient process. Thirty-five steps carry each scarf from dyeing through to finishing, ending with a hand-brushing using teasels, a time-honoured technique that lifts the fibres to a gentle, cloud-like feel.
