This solid colour scarf from Edinburgh Cashmere, a Scottish heritage brand, is made from pure extra fine cashmere and finished in one even colour. Choose from Camel, Black, Brown, Red, Light Blue, Gray and Dark Blue, a palette that works with almost anything you own.

Light and supple, it folds neatly into a bag and is ready whenever it is wanted, whether looped at the neck, draped over the shoulders or tucked beneath a jacket. The cloth is woven at a mill with a tradition stretching back more than 250 years, and the even colour and clean fringe show the care taken at every stage.

Every scarf is made in 35 steps, from dyeing and weaving to washing and finishing. The final step is a gentle brushing by hand with teasels, an age-old technique that leaves the cashmere airy, plush and very soft to the touch. It is a scarf you will take everywhere, and wear for years to come.
