Description
Few names are as widely held in Scotland as Thomson, meaning "son of Thom". The family's ancestors lived among the Strathclyde people of the Borderlands, and an Adam Thomson is recorded as Lord of Kylnekylle in Ayrshire around 1370 to 1380. The Thomson Navy tartan sets bands of navy and white with fine lines of red and gold. It is Scottish heritage in its most poised form.
Handcrafted from 100% pure cashmere at a 250 year old heritage mill, this scarf brings navy and white together in a classic blend, touched with red and gold.
There are 35 steps in the making of each scarf, and the last is done by hand. Teasels are brushed over the cashmere to raise the fibres to an extra soft finish. It is a scarf of understated warmth and an enveloping feel, made to be reached for every winter.
